Transforming Lives, One Smile At A Time.™
At Fox & Abraham, as Orthodontics Specialists, we believe that no two patients are the same and pay particular attention to the individual’s stage of growth before we come up with a highly personalized treatment plan that works in the best interests of the patients over the long-term. Through our practice of Orthodontics Excellence, we believe in developing an individualized treatment plan that will not just transform your facial geometry and smile in a positive way, but will also do so to your life and long-term well-being.
Life-Long Value
We believe that your investment in Orthodontics treatment is not something that should yield temporarily pleasing outcomes but yield a lifetime of happy and beautiful smiles. Achieving good, life-long outcomes for patients requires the best trained specialist Orthodontists, such as at Fox & Abraham, who have a proven track record of delivering such orthodontics excellence for decades.
Our underlying approach is to try not to extract teeth but help the body to correct itself by helping to grow the jaws and allow the teeth to go where nature intended them to be. We improve jaw size, jaw position and tooth position. This improves the airway space which helps to improve the posture resulting in a healthy and happy patient who feels beautiful and confident over the long term.
Excellent Retention
Development or expansion of the jawbones is generally considered permanent, as is the growth of any bone. Of course, retainers must be worn regularly, and habits which cause improper dental and jaw development must be eliminated for long-term optimum results.
Personalized Orthodontics
At Fox & Abraham, we like to create beautiful faces that you can be proud of without a dished-in or protruding facial profile. This requires us to reject cookie-cutter approaches and tailor our treatment plan according to the personal needs of the patient.
Attractive Smiles
When jaws are developed enough to accommodate all of the permanent teeth, a person’s smile is enhanced. It becomes wider and more noticeable… often, far more flattering to a person’s face. Many of our patients tell us they feel their smile has now become their best feature!
Time Wearing Braces
The longer one wears braces, the greater the chances for cavities or tooth discoloration. We tailor your treatment based on your precise needs that will yield benefits over your lifetime. By not going against the natural evolution of your jaw, Fox & Abraham’s practice of Orthodontics Excellence helps minimize the time needed to wear braces to correct your malocclusion.
Non-Extraction Orthodontics
You can have a great smile without having teeth pulled.
We believe that wide attractive smiles look better than narrow smiles often caused by tooth extraction. Based on our extensive training and experience, we use precise, ultra-light forces to move teeth with the bone – with little or no pain.
Straight Teeth – No Extraction
Non-Extraction Orthodontics is the straightening of a person’s teeth without extraction or enamel stripping of any permanent teeth. It is an alternative approach to orthodontic treatment that allows a patient to retain all of his/her teeth while having the teeth straightened.
We believe that most often, it is not the teeth that are too large; rather it is the jaw that is too small for the teeth. This often results in crowded, or “buck” teeth – something that occurs in far too many children. Considering the potential for jaw growth, it requires Specialist Orthodontists to assess the condition properly before deciding the best course of treatment.
Our approach to Orthodontics corrects these crowded (or “protrusive”) conditions by developing the jaw to accommodate all permanent teeth, thereby eliminating the need for extractions.
Less Pain & Four Teeth Can Be Saved
Traditionally, the four bicuspid teeth are removed before the remaining teeth are straightened. In Non-Extraction Orthodontics, these teeth are not removed. Not only is space developed to accommodate the four bicuspids, but often, growth is sufficient in post-molar areas to let the wisdom teeth erupt easily!
YOU BE THE JUDGE!
We believe that the Fox & Abraham approach to orthodontics enhances the face much better than non-specialist orthodontic treatments that promote non-personalized treatment plans. Look for yourselves; the next time you meet someone who has had crooked teeth relapse or teeth extracted for orthodontic treatment – look to see if they have a narrow smile with unattractive black corridors down the side of their smile. Check their profile to see if it is flat or dished in. Ask them if they grind their teeth too much! Look at their lips and check if they are thin.
